4 months old

 

Well little Brixter is 4 months old! It’s kind of crazy to think our family ever existed without him. And what did I ever do with my time as a mom of one? Man, I had it good! ; )

The past four months have been great though. Brix is a really good baby. He sleeps good at night (most of the time) and he is happy during the day. Unless he’s hungry. Then he’s not so happy. I think he gets that from his dad : )

Brix has the cutest laugh and the most adorable smile, if you can get it out of him. He always smiles for me, but people he doesn’t see as much he really makes them work for it.

Brix is only 4 months old, but he is already an awesome little brother. He puts up with a lot of mauling and hand holding and kisses and cheek squishing. I’ve even caught him being sat on. And the other day, during his bath, Ryenn dumped a bucket of water right in his face. And through all of this he doesn’t even bat an eyelash. I think deep down inside he is just laughing away because one day, he will get her back. But maybe they will be the best of friends and get a long great. A girl can dream, right?

He’s already on his way to being bigger than his sister. He is about 18lbs! And he just started rolling over a couple days ago.

We put Brix in the jolly jumper last night. He doesn’t quite have the hang of jumping yet, but he seemed to like it…

This is him today. Ryenn was making him laugh. She really is a great sister and couldn’t love her baby brother more. I’m so lucky : )
