The season of football, that is! Cody is the defensive coordinator for the high school football team and that keeps him pretty busy. They have practice every day during the week and a game every weekend, so having Cody home for more than a few hours in a day is definitely a treat. But he loves it, and that makes it worth it : ) I’ve taken the kids to a couple home games this season and aside from Ryenn being terrified of the cougar mascot, they loved it! The weather has been super nice too. Because of that I’ve come to a realization; football is sure a lot more fun to watch when you’re not freezing your butt off!

our future football star (at least his dad sure hopes so)
It seems that fall will always equal football at the Thomson house. As the saying goes, “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”. So I will enjoy it while it lasts and then do a little happy dance when it’s over : )
